Regional Water Laboratory Services

The RWA Laboratory is a department within the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority utility. It was created to provide support and guidance to the utility by performing analytical services necessary to meet regulatory needs and customer concerns. The laboratory is always conscious of industry needs and maintains NELAC, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut State certifications. Our primary focus since inception has been the analysis of drinking water. We continuously review and develop new methodologies to expand our expertise, and provide you with the most comprehensive service possible. It is our policy to provide both quality results and technical support to all our clients. As a department within a water utility, not solely, an environmental laboratory, we are very attentive to regulatory monitoring requirements and issues that pertain to the drinking water industry. We have been in the business of supplying quality water to 400,000 customers for 150 years. In doing so, we have developed a great deal of knowledge and expertise when dealing with all aspects of providing high-quality water to the public. This expertise allows us the ability to help our clients with issues that may arise due to the source, treatment, and/or distribution. A list of parameters, along with the maximum reporting limits, can be found in the following section.
